The term <em>superclass<\/em> may thus refer to a direct superclass or an indirect super class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the object-descriptor is part of a class declaration then the class is a <em>subclass<\/em> of <code><em>superClass<\/em><\/code>.
